Rain capture and use

What is rain capture and use?

In essence rain capure and use (also known as rain harvesting) is the process of capturing and saving rainwater so that it can be used at a later date. The most common method of water harvesting is through rain collection into tanks (storage) via a roof (capture) and gutter (transporter).

Houses without water harvesting facilities generally discharge this rain water into a storm water pipe and subsequently enters the natural water cycle.
